This video tour of the Sams Plantation Ruins was created by Joel Holden in 2010-2012, then published in DVD format in 2014. It includes a wealth of imagery taken of the ruins from as far back as the 1930’s. Joel’s technique for showing side-by-side images from 1983 & 2010 gives you a real appreciation for the preservation efforts done over the years. These efforts were led by the Dataw Historic Foundation and it’s predecessor, the Ruins Committee.
